மனைவியை பெற்றோல் உற்றி கொழுத்திய கணவன். திருமலையில் சம்பவம்.
தனது கணவரால் தீ மூட்டப்பட்டு தீ காயங்களுக்கு உள்ளாகி வைத்தியசாலையில் சிகிச்சைப் பெற்று வந்த மனைவி சிகிச்சை பலனின்றி உயிரிழந்துள்ளார். இந்த சம்பவம் திருக்கோணமலை - உப்புவெளி சுனாமி வீட்டுத்திட்ட கணேசபுரம் பகுதியில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது.
கணவன் - மனைவிக்கு இடையில் கடந்த 2011-12-17 அன்று ஏற்பட்ட வாக்குவாதம் மோதலில் சென்று முடிந்தபோது ஆத்திரமடைந்த கணவன் மனைவியை தீயிட்டு கொளுத்தியுள்ளார்.
இதன்போது கடும் தீ காயங்களுக்கு உள்ளான மனைவி திருக்கோணமலை வைத்தியசாலையில் சிகிச்சைப் பெற்று வந்த நிலையில் நேற்று உயிரிழந்துள்ளார்.
உயிரிழந்தவர் 24 வயதுடைய இளம் குடும்பப்பெண்ணான கணேசபுரத்தைச் சேர்ந்த பத்மநாதன் இந்திராதேவி என்பவராவார்.
இந்த சம்பவம் தொடர்பில் உப்புவெளி பொலிஸார் மேலதிக விசாரணைகளை மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றனர்.

Lenient punishments favourism and nepotism cannot wipe out the
